    Facility/Equipment Details

    Description

Radiation Therapy students learn to contour anatomy and analyze radiation therapy treatment plans used to deliver a physician prescribed dose of radiation to a target volume containing malignant (cancerous) cells. Students also learn to make immobilization devices used during treatment to ensure that radiation is accurately delivered to avoid critical anatomic structures. These experiences occur both on and off campus at local hospital sites.
