Facility/Equipment Details
Description
This advanced respiratory therapy laboratory is equipped with a comprehensive array of cutting-edge respiratory care equipment, including tracheostomy tubes, cricothyrotomy kits, endotracheal tubes, and various intubation tools. The lab also features laryngoscopes and blades, a glidescope, ambu scope, and end tidal CO2 monitors.
For pulmonary assessment and management, the lab houses Oscillometry devices, Pulmonary Function machines, and lung function measuring tools (MIP, MEP, MVe). The lab is equipped with IPPB machines, CPAP and BiPAP systems, and a range of mechanical ventilators including the Servo-U, Servo-I, AVEA, High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilator (HFOV), Hamilton G3, and Draeger models. Additionally, various transport ventilators and an MRI ventilator are available.
To ensure comprehensive emergency preparedness, the lab includes a difficult airway cart, code carts, and an ASL 5000 lung simulator. For hands-on training, the lab provides Test Training Lungs (TTLs), airway exchangers, and airway manikins. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to support advanced respiratory therapy education and training.
