Overview
Profile
The Biodynamics and Human Performance Center at Georgia Southern University is a multidisciplinary research hub focused on analyzing human movement to enhance performance and well-being. It provides education, conducts research, and offers services related to human movement, benefiting students, faculty, medical professionals, and industry leaders. The center utilizes advanced biomechanical, muscle performance, and exercise physiology labs to study and improve human function, with ongoing projects exploring areas like athletic performance, injury rehabilitation, and physiological responses to exercise.
The Biodynamics and Human Performance Center is dedicated to studying the prevention, evaluation and treatment of movement related diseases and injury. The Center is divided into three sections: the Biomechanics Laboratory, the Muscle Performance Laboratory and the Exercise Physiology Laboratory.
