Overview
Profile
The CEMITURE and I-CEMITURE programs, funded by the NSF, offer 10-week research experiences in biochemistry, chemistry, and physics for undergraduate and graduate students. CEMITURE is based at Georgia Southern University, while I-CEMITURE takes place at the University of Lorraine in France. The programs provide stipends, housing, and professional development opportunities, with a focus on hands-on research and scientific communication. They particularly encourage applications from women, minorities in STEM, and students from underserved areas. Participants have the chance to present their research at national conferences.
