Amanda King, Ph.D., associate professor of economics, has taught at Georgia Southern University since 2002. Prior to coming to Georgia Southern she taught for 2 years at Elon University. King’s recent research interests include the decision between using debit cards and credits cards and competition in video rental market. She teaches in the online Masters of Science in Applied Economics program as well as introductory and intermediate macroeconomics and money and banking.
