Dr. Ana M. Palacios is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Community Health at Georgia Southern University. She joined Georgia Southern in August 2021. Dr. Palacios' research is focused on developing, implementing and scaling effective strategies to improve the nutritional and cardiovascular health of young children and mothers, especially those from underserved, minority backgrounds. She currently has several ongoing research projects in Latin America, in the US, and in Savannah, GA.
