Beom Jun Bae is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Arts and serves as Director of Professional Communication and Leadership at Georgia Southern University. He received his Ph.D. from Florida State University and master’s degrees from the University of Georgia and Korea University. His research interests include health communication, persuasion, natural language processing, and public relations. He currently investigates various health topics such as obesity, cancer, depression, and communicable diseases in online question-and-answer communities, mobile health applications, and cross-cultural contexts using large language models.
