John Barkoulas, Ph.D., is a full professor in the Department of Finance. He joined the faculty at Georgia Southern in 2003. Barkoulas has previously been affiliated with West Virginia University, Louisiana Tech University, and University of Tennessee and taught a variety of undergraduate and graduate (including doctoral) classes. He has published in the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of International Money and Finance, Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Financial Research, Financial Review, International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance, Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Futures Markets, European Journal of Finance, International Review of Financial Analysis, Energy Economics, Chaos, Solitons and Fractals, Economics Letters, among other journals.
