About
My research is focused in three major areas: collaboration, pedagogy, and coding/game design in technical and professional communication (TPC). Recently, I have completed two separate tri-university, IRB-approved studies to collect data and am working with several research groups on topics that include the following:
- Using game design to teach design thinking in TPC classrooms
- Teaching computational thinking and coding literacy in TPC
- Building psychological safety during team collaboration
- Using narrative to teach design thinking in children’s books
- Using digital tools to connect distributed teams
