Lisandra R. Carmichael is the Dean of Libraries at Georgia Southern University. Lisandra has a Ph.D. in Information Studies from Florida State University, Florida; and a Masters degree in Library Sciences and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri at Columbia, Missouri.
 
Lisandra’s research interests include transformational leadership and succession planning & management programs in academic libraries; library services to constituents, and adapting library spaces and services for multiple constituencies. Her objective is to engage faculty, staff, and students with the UNF Library resources, services, and programming.
