About
Melissa Garno joined Georgia Southern University in 1998 as a faculty member in the School of Nursing. After serving as BSN Program Director for 8 years, she assumed the role of Associate Chair for the School of Nursing in 2018. From 2012-2014 she also served as a Program Assessment Leader with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. In 2015 she additionally became responsible for overseeing the PMHNP track. Dr. Garno earned an EdD in Curriculum Studies from Georgia Southern University in 2003.
