Ryan Armstrong's research focuses on the Bible in its historical and linguistic context, along with the history of its interpretation by rabbis, theologians, philosophers, and artists. His background as a dancer (breaking) has also influenced his writing on hip hop philosophy. He joined Georgia Southern University in 2025.
