Abstract
This report explores the economic impact Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield (FS/HAAF) has made on the Savannah-Hinesville-Statesboro combined statistical area (SHS-CSA). The first part of the report is a comprehensive analysis that covers the monetary contribution made by this installation in four major aspects: personnel, operations, construction, and retiree payment. The analysis uses Fiscal Year 2023 operations and personnel data and a combined total of 2022 and 2023 construction data because projects cover multiple years.
