N2 - This article is based on our experiences launching a 3D-printing program at Georgia Southern University’s libraries. 3D printers are cheap. However, 3D printing releases fumes, and dedicated ventilation retrofits are expensive. With a limited budget, we wanted to operate safely but without installing costly dedicated ventilation.
