Abstract
Extensive interviews of managers of a subset of the State of Georgia’s Critical Access Hospitals focused on financial and operational practices. Textual analysis of the transcribed interviews was used to identify and characterize the competitive strategies utilized by this cohort and relate these to existing typologies and performance outcomes.
