A Linear System of Strip-Based Projection Model in Discrete Tomography

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

<div class="line" id="line-5"> Discrete tomography deals with image reconstruction of an object with a &filig;nitely many gray levels (such as two). The strip-based projection model is more realistic to model the raw detector reading in some applications than the line-based projection models. In this talk we will analyze the linear system generated by strip-based projection model and establish equivalence between the system matrices generated by the strip-based and line-based projection models.</div>
