Abstract

A miniaturized, pattern reconfigurable, circularly polarized Yagi antenna is designed and simulated. Two orthogonally crossed directors are located on both sides of the folded crossed dipole driver. Switches are used at both crossed director junctions to manipulate the radiation pattern's directionality. The maximum gain of 5.02 dBic and a 1.5 dB axial ratio is achieved in both configurations of the antenna.
