Abstract

Part 1 of a 3-article series details the Survey for Client Acceptance of Hearing Loss and Aids (SCAHLA), an 18-question survey designed to provide information on a client’s perceptions of hearing loss while initiating serious thinking about issues like the implications of a hearing loss and the value of treating hearing problems via amplification.
