Abstract
In this essay I review the collected work of Annette Gough (2024). I break down her work into three sections. First, I look at her contributions to environmental pedagogy and policy and feminist thought with the insightful help of Isabella Stengers, Vinciane Despret, and Virginia Woolf. Second, I cover Gough’s critique of the social scientific research approach to environmental pedagogy aided by the philosophy of Sandra Harding. Third I focus on the nonhuman in Gough’s collected work. I conclude the essay with a summative comment on Gough’s connection with Haraway’s idea of staying with the trouble.
