Abstract
The development and the utilities of LabVIEW virtual instruments for solving structural analysis problem were discussed. The LabVIEW tool was developed to aid the investigators in controlling laboratory instrumentations and in acquiring experimental data. This tool could also be used as a programming tool or a computing tool to obtain the solution to many engineering related problems. The software also contains a collection of powerful tools that enables the user to import other files such as spreadsheets and MATLAB script files into the LabVIEW environment. The created virtual instrument could serve as an educational tool for the instructor and also for the students.
