Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to transform the way healthcare is provided and enhance patient outcomes through the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases. This chapter examines the different ways in which AI is used to diagnose and track illnesses, including deep learning and machine learning. The advantages and drawbacks of AI in this area are examined, along with the necessity for high-quality data and ethical issues related to its application. The chapter also looks at potential future uses of AI for diagnosing and monitoring diseases, including the creation of new technologies and algorithms. Readers will, in short, have a comprehensive awareness of the potential of AI in healthcare and the issues that must be resolved in order to fully reap its advantages in illness diagnosis and monitoring.
