Abstract
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness will be hosting the symposium on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 3:30 to 5:00pm in the CEIT Professional Development Center. At the symposium several academic programs will be recognized by Interim Provost Diane Cone for outstanding 2014-2015 Academic Program Assessment Reports.
The event will also feature a panel discussion. During a panel discussion, faculty members will share their stories concerning the benefits of the assessment process in maximizing student learning and informing program curriculum.
Panelists will include: Richard E. Cleveland, Assistant Professor, Program Coordinator, School Counseling MEd Program, Department of Leadership, Technology and Human Development, College of Education. Dr. Cleveland accepted the Certificate of Excellence for the 2014-15 Academic Program Assessment Report for the MEd Counselor Education concentration in School Counseling Program.
