Book Summary: This guide provides an overview of the bar admissions process in various jurisdictions around the globe, a process that is modeled after that generally used in the United States.

Globalization has created a demand for attorneys who are licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions. This guide provides an overview of the bar admissions process in various jurisdictions around the globe, a process that is modeled after that generally used in the United States. For each jurisdiction, the authors tried to provide information on the issues of language, educational requirements, character and fitness, traineeship requirements, challenges facing foreign applicants, reciprocity, and where to find additional information or who to contact about the bar admissions process. This valuable tool is a reference guide that consolidates the information compiles into one volume for easy access. Information from more than 50 countries is included.
