Abstract

Despite the paucity of CKC upper extremity research, the inherent characteristics of CKC training and testing warrant inclusion in upper extremity rehabilitation and exercise training. Further research must be performed to understand better the exact muscular activation patterning, benefits of training, and optimal methods to monitor and measure functional performance in the CKC environment before more definitive training and testing protocols and paradigms can be developed.
