Abstract

Computational studies of turbulent combustion’s instabilities are performed for a subsonic co-flow combustion. The computational studies are carried out using the large eddy simulation (LES) approach. The studies concern the understanding of the effect of fuel-air ratio on the combustion instabilities. Four different fuel/air ratios (1 - 4) and its effect on the combustion processes and instabilities are subject of investigation in this research.
