Abstract
The preparation and creation of several lecture rooms and computer laboratory facilites in support of engineering programs at Gerogia Southern University are discussed. The methodologies implemented during the fall semester of 1999 for teaching computing course are demonstrated. A website is designed to aid the instructor in relaying the course material. Multimedia lecterns selected for the lecture rooms provide easy viewing for all strudents and allow the instructor to secure the equipment in place effortlessly after the lecture without shutting down the system. Because of performing the project, the students were familiarized more with utilization of variety of formulas and functions, including mathematics and trignometric functions in spreadsheets.
