Abstract
The trajectories of cross-cultural narrative inquiry I have been engaged in are evolving with my cross-cultural lives in such a wide array of areas as: origins of cross-cultural narrative inquiry; creating a composite auto/biographical narrative method; representing bilingual/bicultural lives and identities; using metaphors to identify research themes and understand cross-cultural experiences; tales in words and tales on canvas-telling stories through arts and poetry; narrative and experience in multicultural education; using life based literary narratives in multicultural teacher education; research on the education of Asian American immigrant students in schools/families/communities; activist practitioner inquiry into life in schools/families/communities in the US South; research on the education of disenfranchised individuals and groups in Hong Kong and Mainland China; East Meets West in curriculum studies; exile pedagogy/curriculum, and teaching in-between; diaspora curriculum theorizing; and cross-cultural curriculum imagination in hard times.
