Abstract

A dual-element cross-dipole antenna is proposed as follow up to the dual-element dipole design. The design features a -10-dB impedance bandwidth of 34.3%, and 3 distinct axial ratio bandwidths. The realized gain is stable at 2 dBi throughout the - 10dB impedance bandwidth and exhibits a maximum front-to-back ratio of 0.17 dB across the three axial ratio dips.
