Abstract
To facilitate rapid prototyping of novel interferometers for important applications, a technique for using approximate solutions of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation was developed. The procedure was validated by reproducing the results of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) experiment, wherein a Mach-Zender type matter-wave interferometer was demonstrated.
