Abstract

PURPOSE/HYPOTHESIS: Return to sport functional testing after lower body injury has received considerable attention recently. Several studies have assessed functional testing after ACL reconstruction and ankle sprains, including change of direction (COD) tasks, which play a role in the advancement of rehabilitation and provide a progression of loading for the injured athlete. The primary purpose was to provide normative data for healthy subjects for a novel lateral COD test. A secondary purpose was to determine test-retest, interrater and intrarater reliability for the DALP test.
NUMBER OF SUBJECTS: Fifty-one.
MATERIALS/METHODS: Subjects (age, 25 years; range, 22-35 years; 65% female) attended 2 sessions as part of the data collection process.
