Abstract

The session will begin with a brief presentation on lessons learned from our institution’s online graduate business programs. In 2012, our Master of Business Administration online program was named to the first U.S. News and World Report "Honor Roll" of top online education programs (U.S. News & World Report, 2012). Our presentation will cover a variety of topics, including course structure and design, developing a community of inquiry, and establishing relationships between faculty and students via computer-mediated communication tools. Following the presentation, a roundtable discussion of best practices for online teaching among the audience members will be held.
