Evaluatable, Not Evaluable

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

To the editor: For sometime I have argued that the term evaluatable more appropriately describes the process of deciding whether data are to be included in efficacy analyses than does the term evaluable . Neither word is found in modern dictionaries. The root for the former term is evaluate . The root for the latter term must be evalue . Evalue is not to be found in modern dictionaries nor in any of the older ones in which I have looked. However, evaluate is found.
