Finding Redundant Rows in Two-Direction Generated Matrix in DT

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

Discrete tomography deals with the reconstruction of an image from the projections in a few directions. Mathematically, one solves a system of projection equations. The strip–based projection generates matrices with known rank less than the number of equations. We present ways to identify the dependent rows in such matrices, the removal of which result in a full row-rank system.
