Abstract

The flow cavitation inside a centrifugal pump is numerically investigated using the large-eddy simulation approach. The goal of this research is to identify and mitigate the parameters affecting the flow cavitation inside a centrifugal pump. The computational studies are carried out in a rotating frame of reference. The analysis is carried out for high-Reynolds number flow, Re = 1.5x105.
