Abstract

Genomic profiling and in vitro analysis of microRNAs in neurodegenerative disorders The aims of this proposal were to uncover novel noncoding microRNA-mRNA mechanisms in dementia caused by mutations in the Progranulin gene. We uncovered specific noncoding RNA-mediated pathways in response to Progranulin haploinsufficiency in the frontal cortex of brains from a large cohort of patients.
