Abstract
Invited keynote speech given by Prof. Joseph Telfair at the Academy for Population Health Innovation (APHI) at UNC Charlotte, APHI Nexus 2021 Conference.
The presentation opens with an overview of what we know about the realities and challenges of structural and social determinants on health. It then explores the strategic value of collaborative engagement and systems-change as sustainable solutions for promoting health and addressing historic/embedded inequities and needed economic and social justice.
