Abstract

Fabric flexible composites are usually subjected to large biaxial deformation. The strain in the thickness direction may have a significant effect on the in-plane behavior of fabric flexible composites. These behavioral changes have often been ignored in the previous analyses. In the present work the effects of thickness strain on the biaxial behavior of the flexible fabric composite have been studied.
