Abstract
The incorporation of a cooperative learning technique in organic chemistry was studied. In order to gather qualitative information regarding the functioning of the learning teams, brief surveys that allowed students to express their opinions were distributed. Difficulty scheduling team meetings, student apathy and personality conflicts were also noted.
