Abstract
How do you get an entire generation accustomed to keying in their requests for information on a computer to follow a few simple steps to locate a copy of articles, books and other resources available in the library? We will discuss how we interrupt the library patron’s intuitive desire to work electronically with a series of simple and customer-friendly instructions to put them on a path to not just find their resource, but to hopefully explore the library. By devising ways to help students without their realization that they need assistance, ILL Librarian/Liaison consultations will be the new cog in the wheel of instruction at the Henderson Library.
