Just Google It: Investigating Multilingual Writers’ Digital Information Literacy

Abstract

This study examines multilingual students’ information-seeking behaviors through analysis of screen recordings of 50 participants conducting research on a sample topic and argues for the need of a unified framework regarding reading, writing, and literacy. The findings provide a snapshot of the students’ information literacy skills and their challenges.
