Abstract

Focusing on experiences at Bennett College for Women, this session will investigate strategies for integrating Carol Kuhithau's Information Search Process (ISP) into information literacy instruction. Presenters will discuss the value of the ISP model for understanding students' cognitive and affective experiences as they engage in research, and the benefits of making this process explicit to students during instruction.
