Abstract

As the constructs of Mindfulness and Mattering gather momentum in counseling and therapeutic contexts, their application to the school setting provides school counselors, school social workers, and other educators with the opportunity to address student spirituality in an ethical, professional, and meaningful manner relevant to students. This didactic, interactive presentation will provide a brief overview of the concepts within a working definition of student spirituality.
