Next Steps in the Support of Instructional Assistants for Emporium-Based Math Courses: Using a Wiki as an Electronic Performance Support System

Research output: Contribution to conferencePresentation

Abstract

This paper is a report of an evaluation conducted in the summer of 2008 on the implementation of a wiki-based electronic performance support system (EPSS). The EPSS was introduced to assist with the week-to-week training needs of instructional assistants in a large-scale mathematics learning environment. Findings include the need for a comprehensive training strategy, which reminds the instructional assistants of the existence of the EPSS and includes detailed examples of its use in the workplace.
