Abstract

Based on the experiments, a constitutive model and failure criterion are proposed for the pre-torqued long rods of tungsten alloy. The pre-torqued long rods of tungsten alloy penetration in the steel targets are simulated numerically. The main penetrating patterns are obtained and the results of simulation are discussed. The results of simulation agree with the experimental results very well.
