title = "Numerical studies of a buoy system; a comparison between LES and SAS",
abstract = "Numerical studies of a buoy system are performed using both large eddy simulation (LES) and scale adaptive simulation (SAS). The studies concern the effect of wave amplitude and frequency on the buoy{\textquoteright}s motion. The studies reveal that the SAS is a promising tool for obtaining the unsteady wall-pressure fields and aerodynamic coefficients. SAS with a lower computational cost than LES capture very well the flow physics and aerodynamic coefficients associated with highly separated flows.",
