Abstract

The effect of the injectors’ fuel flow rates and angle on the swirl combustion is 0 0 0 0 computationally studied for a range of fuel/air ratios (1 ÷ 4) and angles (30,45,60,90 ) . The computations are carried out suing the large-eddy simulation (LES) approach. The analysis reveals the presence of a region of high level of temperature, NO and CO2, inside the cavity. The swirl flow causes a preferential distribution of this region towards the side of the combustor.
