Abstract

This two-hour educational session discusses the rehabilitation of a tactical athlete through the surgical process. This session outlines presurgical interventions, post-operative treatments, and return to duty guidelines for this specialized patient population. Strength and conditioning principles are examined as they relate to postoperative rehabilitation. We conclude the session with discussing case scenarios evaluating and treating the post-operative tactical athlete.
