Abstract
This alternating treatment design single case study investigated the effects of performance feedback (PF) via email and immersive video within virtual reality (IVVR) on two pre-service teachers’ use of behavior-specific praise (BSP). Both participants demonstrated increased rates of BSP following both intervention conditions. Findings suggest that both modalities hold promise for improving teacher practice, but in-dividualized preferences and ongoing learning should be considered when designing professional development programs. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impact of IVVR on skill maintenance and to investigate its effectiveness with larger and more diverse teacher populations.
