Abstract

Polystyrene microspheres with diameter of 20 μm were prepared by dispersion polymerization through two-step swelling method. C ₆₀ was successfully introduced to the surface of polystyrene microspheres through chloromethylation, azidation and cycloaddition. The C ₆₀-containing PS microspheres have photoconductivity, which orginates from the existence of C ₆₀.
