Abstract

Polystyrene microspheres with diameter of 20 μm were prepared by dispersion polymerization through two-step swelling method. C 60 was successfully introduced to the surface of polystyrene microspheres through chloromethylation, azidation and cycloaddition. The C 60-containing PS microspheres have photoconductivity, which orginates from the existence of C 60.
