Prompts serve as the primary means of communication between the user and Codex. Codex, when prompted aptly, can generate boilerplate code, set up standard structures, or even produce intricate algorithms, thereby accelerating the software development process. This chapter presents some real-world use cases of Codex: rapid prototyping, educational tool, code refactoring, bug identification, code translation, guided code development with natural language, assisting in database operations, custom code snippets, and documentation.
